photonics council that represents the whole range of interests across
the Northwest.

of company interests that will satisfy the DTI national interest in

a website that contains such things as a noticeboard which will lead
to the possibility of webinars (seminars on the web).
- To set up workshops
as a focus for common interests.
- To create intercompany
links and company-academic cooperation, always with a strategy of forging
links with Europe
